“Hornet” Bike - single tire bike

Presenting The All New High Tech “Hornet” Bike From Liam Ferguson
If there one recreational vehicle, that has been constantly witnessed a remarkable jump in design and functions, is the bike. With numerous modern and futuristic designs being introduced almost every other day, it becomes real hard for people to judge, as to which bike makes the cut. Keeping to the topic of futuristic bike designs, designer, Liam Ferguson has now proposed an all new revolutionary concept, called Hornet. This one of a kind dream design has already won the highly coveted VACC competition and has introduced a breakthrough in the ways tomorrow’s vehicles are supposed to get powered.

The Hornet utilizes dual 74 hp (55 kW) in-wheel hydrogen fuel-cell six-phase Neodymium-Iron (Nd-Fe) electric motors, that provide the bike all the power it requires to reach a maximum velocity of 235 km/h. The Hornet is balanced using a gyroscope and in its parking state, the bike makes use of two side by side small wheels.

As the Hornet is an essentially single tire bike, thus the entire structure of the bike is completely computer controlled. Meaning that, the computer sensors are able to analyze the attitude of the Hornet along with the inputs given in by the driver. This enables the computers to correct the stance of the bike, keeping into consideration two crucial factors, such as, weight and the momentum of the vehicle. The Hornet weighs about 176 kilograms and is viewed the next generation bike for the future.
